Our charming “kaz kreol” (typical creole house) is located at the foot of the mountain ‘Tourelle de Tamarin’. From our large terrace, pool and garden you have a breathtaking view over the bay of Tamarin, where you can swim with the dolphins in the morning.

The pool in front of the terrace is situated in our big garden. At our place you will experience la vie mauricienne. We organise a weekly table d'hote or bbq with local food and local music with local artists and friends. Are you interested to learn how to cook mauritian food? We organise cooking classes and end up eating together and dance the typical mauritian sega. Our legendary sundowner with rhum, kajaks and chillout beats. Local artists and friends will present their talent and craftsmanship. We will also show you the different events like concerts, expositions, sports competition or dancing at a white party at the beach.

At Bellevue Tamarin we also try to be as eco friendly as possible, from dividing the trash, solar panels for water and electricity to our little bio garden. We are a european-mauritian family, which loves people from all over the world and more than happy to welcome you at our home. Bellevue Tamarin is very well located to visit the island Mauritius. From here you are in 1.5h drive in the north, east or south of the island. A car is definitely a must.

From our place you are in 5 minutes drive at the PUBLIC-Beach of Tamarin, which is the best surf spot of Mauritius for beginners and advanced surfers. The second beach of Tamarin La Preuneuse, is about the same distance from us. A further very beautiful one  PUBLIC-Beach is in La Preuneuse approx. 1400 m. Furthermore is a big bay for bathing, snorkels and beach walks. An access to the public beach are accessible is below our house.

Tamarin is located on the West Coast of Mauritius. A bit more than 1 hour drive from the airport depending on traffic.

Next to the supermarket, is a small shopping center, among others pharmacy approx 1000 m. A bigger center with banks, cafés, restaurants and boutiques is in 1500 m of distance. Several restaurants are attainable by foot and bus stops are nearby our guest house.
