WELCOME TO PARADISE
Welcome to our home. A charming, family run place by your hosts Pascale, Aaliyah and Fabrice. We live in Tamarin, a place in the southwest of Mauritius together with our two beautiful dogs. Our aim is to provide you an unforgettable stay as natural, warm, cosy and local as possible. We have five typical local apartments and rooms. Each one of them different in look and feel, but all of them functional to enjoy a wonderful stay filled with new experiences and emotions. Our place is perfectly located to explore all different facettes which Mauritius has to offer. From crystal clear beaches and activities in the turquoise lagoon to a huge selection of food choices, nature parks and daily excursions right at your doorstep. Above all of these excellent possibilities let yourself be inspired by the melting pot, charm and kindness of the different cultures of the Mauritian people.

TROPIC
Situated on the ground floor you will get a feeling of being in the middle of the tropics. This amazing apartment accommodates 3 adults or a family of 4.
FLAMBOYANT
Our cozy studio with a stunning view of the ocean accommodates up to 2 adults. Romantic views during the sunset are guaranteed.
SUNSET
Our Studio suits solo travelers or couples. Situated on the ground floor you get a beautiful view of the ocean.
Location
Located on the southern westcoast of the island of Mauritius we can be reached within an hour from the international Airport. As well less than an hour away is the city of Port Louis. Within 10 minutes by foot you can reach our local beach which is ideal for surfing.

We are passionate about everything we do. Besides welcoming people from all around the world, showing them all the great spots on the island, we also like to spoil our guests with additional services in our residence. Pamper yourself with a massage or mani/pedi.

Aside from astonishing beaches, hiking tracks or cultural heritage sites, Mauritius is known for its great markets and shopping possibilities. You can be sure to find the perfect souvenir for friends and family around Tamarins many markets.
Local Projects
Since we took over the residence back in 2019 we are keen to make our guesthouse more ecofriendly and more sustainable. At the same time this gives us a chance to work with locals and give something back to our community. We are happy to tell you more about it during your visit or you can read about it on our blog.

Did you know that you can rent our Penthouse and its fabulous 60m2 terrace for a personal event. With a magnificent 180 degrees view of the ocean you can book the Penthouse for a family lunch or a romantic dinner.
