Port Louis – The first to see is the Caudan Waterfront with its many boutiques, cafes and restaurants. It continues from here to the Central Market and Chinatown. Make sure to take time for this trip and to wear some comfy shoes. A tip – buy vanilla. But it should not be more than 10-15 rupees that you pay per pole.

Quatre Borne – On Thursdays and Sundays there is always a big market in town. You will find anything you want. From souvenirs to everyday items, clothing and fabrics. Make sure you find time on your trip to pass by at least once.

Curepipe – If you are planning to take a trip to the highlands make sure you stop by. There are various shops and boutiques you can visit on your way to Trou aux Cers and the volcano.

Floreal – The Floreal Square is worth mentioning: you will find various shops of well-known manufacturers. Some of them are quite cheaper, especially cashmere fabrics.

La Croisette – A newly opened huge shopping mall in Grand Baie. It can’t be overlooked as you drive by from the highway. La Croisette has many small shops, restaurants as well as cafes, a cinema and more.
